Essex is one of the most beautiful counties in the entire country of England. Located closely to London’s urban settlements and yet having marvelous countryside views, this place is a beacon of charisma and charm. Essex has always been a popular tour site. But, recently, thanks to the artistic backdrop, the county has also become a popular wedding destination not only for British people but also for the entire world.

Getting married in one of the manors or small country houses in Essex is like a dream come true, especially for those couples who love the tranquility of a county rather than the hustle-bustle of the cities and towns. For those couples, here, we have discussed the five most popular wedding venues in Essex.

    The Lawn

Sitting right at the heart of a large countryside farm, The Lawn is one of the most exquisite wedding venues in the entire Essex County. The manor has a beautiful garden which can be used for the reception and the after-wedding parties. The gazebo provides a wonderful backdrop and will be a perfect place for wedding photography.

    Newland Hall

This particular manor is one of the best wedding venues Essex, thanks to the perfect balance between its contemporary and rural architectures. The picturesque garden Moor and the impeccable natural beauty will serve as an unforgettable backdrop for your wedding. You can even arrange an outdoor reception in the lawn overlooking the beautiful Meadows.

    Gayness Park

Another amazing wedding venue in Essex is the Gaynes Park. The entire London skyline can be observed from this historical estate and with the majestic country view in combination you are going to have the best wedding ever. The main wedding can be arranged in the Orangery which has a perfect Victorian styled architecture.

    Hedingham Castle

Hedingham castle is one of the best places to exchange vows and explore Norman architecture in real life. The entire castle area is quite huge but only the Keep is available for the public. You can arrange the wedding and the reception here inside the castle. But if you want an outdoor reception, the castle’s garden will be an ideal location for the same.

    Le Talbooth

Just beside the River Stour, there is the huge estate of the Le Talbooth- a place that offers some majestic views of the water body, thereby imparting a serene and calm sensation in the atmosphere. The reception’s dining area can be arranged by the river side while the Marquee will be perfect for the dancing. The venue can hold up to a hundred and fifty guests at a time.

With these five venues now known, you can start planning for your wedding in the best way, just like you have envisioned. But, yes, since these are quite popular, get the booking info at the earliest to avoid any last moment conflict.
